'Celebrate Opelika' Schedule of Events
Join us in dowtown Opelika from 10-4pm for a day of fun-filled family activities beginning with the unveiling of the new Historic Marker followed by a flag retiring ceremony. We will also have children's activities, food, Historic Walking Tours, grand re-opening for the Museum of East Alabama entertainment, arts and crafts, a homemade ice cream contest, inflatables, and so much more.

'Buy Fresh..Buy Local' and support Alabama Growers at the Main Street Farmers Market at the Main Street Farmers Market each Tuesday throughout the summer.

2010 Touch-a-Truck!
Saturday, June 5th, 2010 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. On June 5 in downtown Opelika there will be trucks and other vehicles of all shapes and sizes for children, under adult supervision, to touch and explore.

Main Street Membership Campaign!
Each time you shop, pick up your dry-cleaning, have lunch or dinner or attend one of our events, you are showing your support of downtown and the Main Street program. One of our missions always has and will continue to be the fact that we promote community spirit. Hopefully you have been able to experience first-hand what we do best...make you feel welcome and at home. People are investing in their future, their children's future and their community by preserving a piece of history in a downtown that we can all be proud of. Your support and membership is important to us and covers the current calendar year. It is our hope that you will lend your support and allow us to continue our ongoing work.
