Downtown Opelika to Bloom with Specials and Giveaways During Spring Open House
Opelika Main Street invites the community to celebrate the arrival of the season at the 2026 Spring Open House. This event showcases the vibrant retail and dining scene of historic downtown Opelika, offering a day of exclusive deals, new product launches, and interactive giveaways.
Local shoppers and visitors can enjoy a variety of "Spring Specials" from participating downtown merchants. Highlights of the event include:
Exclusive Discounts: Save 20% at Designer’s Warehouse, Studio 3:19, and Fringe (on spring dresses).
Seasonal Flavors: Enjoy a Blood Orange Cold Brew from Cakeitecture Bakery, Affogatos at O Town Ice Cream, or a Bourbon Coffee Twist at Stinson Breads.
Specialty Items: Taylor Made Designs will launch a brand-new “Only in Opelika” mug and spring collections, while All Strung Out Yarn Shop debuts handmade coffee cozys.
Spirit of the Season: John Emerald Distilling will serve $8 Espresso Martinis from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Win a $300 Prize Bag. Shoppers are encouraged to pick up a Spring Open House Map at any participating business or at Opelika Main Street. By making a purchase and collecting stamps from at least three different locations, participants can enter to win a Downtown Opelika Prize Bag valued at over $300.
The "Sunflower" Search. Adding to the excitement, “bunnies” will be popping up randomly throughout downtown. Attendees who spot a “bunny” and say the magic word, “Sunflower,” will have a chance to win between $5-$25 in Downtown Dollars, which can be spent at any participating downtown business.
